The ZIBI Graduate School Berlin is an international doctoral program for research in infection biology and immunology.

We are the roof organization of

  • International Max Planck Research School for Infectious Diseases and Immunology (IMPRS-IDI)
  • DFG Research Training Group 2046 "Parasite Infections: From Experimental Models to Natural Systems" (GRK 2046)
  • Leibniz Graduate School for Chronic Inflammation (LeGCI)
  • Transregio 241 "Immune-Epithelial Communication in Inflammatory Bowel Diseases" (TRR241)

  • Transregio 84 “Innate Immunity of the Lung: Mechanisms of Pathogen Attack and Host Defence in Pneumonia“ (TRR84)

Our doctoral students can enroll at the following Berlin universities: Freie Universität (FU), Technische Universität (TU), Humboldt Universität (HU) or Charité-Universitätsmedizin Berlin.

We are looking for highly-motivated, eligible candidates with a Master's degree or equivalent from the following fields:

Immunology, Infection Biology, Microbiology, Parasitology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular and Cell Biology, Genetics, Molecular Medicine, Bioinformatics and Evolutionary Biology.
